Programs
IRA’s mission is to help improve the quality of life within Iowa communities by advancing cost-effective and sustainable waste reduction and recycling activities. We continue to broaden our efforts to produce programs that meet the needs of communities, educators, business, industry professionals and concerned citizens.
Member Education:
IRA educates members through periodic e-mail bulletins, our Fall Conference, tours and workshops.
Public Education:
IRA helps educate the public on the economic and environmental benefits of recycling.
In the Classroom:
IRA offers the MiniMRF Kit and 4Rs Newsletter to assist educators in the classroom.
Connecting our Members:
IRA provides opportunities to connect with other professionals through events, tours, our membership directory, and partnerships and affiliations.
